Paint Your Heart Out
Each April, the Rotary Club of Portsmouth and many other volunteers pool their resources to help some elderly or disabled home owners spruce up their properties.
A search Committee is formed to select homes and home owners eligible for the service. We coordinate with the homeowner to decide the most appropriate colors and applications and then on PYHO day, the teams swarm into neighborhoods to renovate the exterior of a few grateful owners' homes.
As of 2011, we have painted some 150+ houses in the Portsmouth area.
