Liz has served as the Assistant Director of the Portsmouth Partnership since July 2024, where she works closely with community partners to build on Portsmouth’s strengths and amplify the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. With more than 15 years of leadership experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, Liz has previously served as the Director of Community Engagement for Volunteer Hampton Roads and the Executive Director of organizations in Connecticut and Rhode Island, specializing in direct human services, social enterprise, and community development. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Third World Development Studies from Smith College and a master’s in Public Affairs from Brown University. Known for her data-driven approach to addressing community needs, Liz has extensive experience in program design and fostering collaboration in support of underserved communities. 

A proud Rotarian since 2012, (shout out Chariho and District 7950!!!) she has advised Interact and Rotaract clubs, inspiring youth to embrace a lifetime of volunteer service. She resides in Portsmouth, where she is restoring a historic home and enjoying all that this great city has to offer.
